Meet the Photographer

Josh Davey is a Western Massachusetts–based photographer with a passion for capturing energy in motion. Specializing in sports, with a focus on action sports, he also brings his bold, vibrant style to portraits, commercial projects, and real estate photography. Whether it’s the rush of a motocross race or the quiet detail of a product shot, Josh approaches every assignment with creativity, precision, and an eye for storytelling.

Before stepping behind the lens full-time, Josh spent 15 years in the home fragrance industry, working primarily with candles in research and development. Throughout his career, he collaborated with numerous brands, gaining valuable experience in product creation and innovation. On weekends, he was a competitive downhill mountain bike racer until injuries put him on the sidelines in 2022. That’s when he picked up a camera, determined to stay connected to the sports world he loved. Photography quickly became more than a hobby, and soon, a new career was born.

Since then, Josh has photographed for names like Transworld Motocross, the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series, and Berkshire East Mountain Resort, as well as local businesses such as Craft Salon and Francie’s Tavern.

When he’s not shooting, you’ll likely find him outdoors mountain biking, snowboarding, or traveling. At home he enjoys making music on guitar, bass, or piano, while the violin continues to keep him humble.
